Instant Hygge is a mobile, hyperlocal community engagement platform that facilitates the use of neglected and unused spaces in site-specific areas for spontaneous encounters with citizens. It seeks to gather unique information about the uses of space, while also providing a place for people to meet. Their aim is to develop models of place-making, mobility and belonging for the public sphere. These models are activity-based, inclusive and intended to be appropriated and adapted for community use.
